PM Narendra Modi

We all know the contribution of Jhansi and Bundelkhand in the freedom struggle. Viranganahi like Rani Lakshmibai, Jhalkaribai also happened here and sportsmen like Major Dhyanchand have also been given to the country by this region.  The Prime Minister said that when Queen Lakshmibai of Jhansi was fighting a legal battle against the East India Company, her lawyer was John Lang. Yes, John Lang was a native of Australia. While living in India, he had fought the case of Rani Lakshmibai. Another interesting thing in history is that Australia and our Bundelkhand Jhansi also have a different relationship, he said.

Prime Minister Modi said that there is a city called Perth in Australia. Perth also has an art gallery called ‘Sacred India Gallery’. The art gallery is located in a beautiful area of the valley called Swan. This is the fruit of the efforts of Tarini Dasi, a resident of Australia. Jagat Tarini is actually from Australia. He was born there and grew up there. But he spent more than 13 years in Vrindavan, India. This incredible effort of Jagat Tariniji, indeed, gives us a glimpse of the power of Krishna devotion. “I wish them all the best for their efforts,” he said.

Many works of art related to the life of Lord Krishna are also displayed here. In one of the artefacts, Lord Krishna has lifted Govardhan mountain on his finger and the people of Vrindavan have taken shelter under it. Tarini Dasi says that she returned to Australia, but he could not forget Vrindavan. That is why he established Vrindavan in Australia with the feeling that he should feel connected with Vrindavan and its spirituality.

Through art, he created such a wonderful Vrindavan. Visitors get a chance to see a variety of artwork. He gets a glimpse of the traditions and culture of India’s most famous pilgrimage sites – Vrindavan, Nawadwip and Jagannathpuri – said Prime Minister Modi.

Other important points Prime Minister mentioned in his speech :

  • Amrut Mahotsav inspires learning as well as doing something for the country and now the general public or governments across the country, from the Panchayats to the Parliament, everyone is celebrating Amrut Mahotsav.
  • December celebrates Naval Day and Armed Forces Flag Day. On December 16, the country celebrates the golden jubilee year of the 1971 war. On this occasion, We remember the heroes of the country and the mothers who gave birth to heroes.
